Doreen E Schmidt, CFP^® Professional

Doreen has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in investment and retirement planning. She is a qualified consultant for health insurance and Medicare, a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Osaic Wealth, and has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional since 2017.

Her prior experience includes nine years at U.S. Bank as a Personal Banker and Financial Specialist. She became an independent registered representative in 2005 after earning her Series 6 and 63 licenses, later adding the Series 7 securities license. Doreen also holds life, health, and annuity insurance licenses in Minnesota and several other states. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of Individual Studies at Metropolitan State University.

Doreen lives in Dayton, Minnesota, with her husband, Jon, and her son, Eddie (16). She also has two stepchildren—Cole (22) and Leah (19)—who are currently attending college. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, drawing and painting, creating props for her son’s theater company, and spending time with family and friends at their cabin in the Brainerd Lakes area.
